BEND IT LIKE-INDIA

Bend It like INDIA

Hey you slaves wipe my shoe,

Stitch my shirt and wash the loo,

Who are you and why do you talk,

One more word and you won’t walk,

Pay the tax and work with axe,

‘No’ to tax and you are killed with the axe,

Taste the opium and give me spice,

You can live the life so nice,

If you say no, pay the price,

Only porridge and no more rice,

Who are they?

Who are they?

Let us fight, it’s our land,

Mangal Pandey plotted a plan,

Flop was the mutiny and happy was John,

It was not the destiny, though Mangal’s plans were gone,

Spread like fire, and raise up my dear,

Chuck out the fear, get ready for the battle that’s near,

Galloped the horses of Jhansi ki rani,

Who kissed death and remains our desh ki rani,

Give them a taste of their own medicine,

But show John what’s Indian tradition,

Join hands,

To drive them off Indian sands,

Came in Bapu and there was chacha,

Who said: let’s not fight, let’s not fight!

You can speak, you can write,

If they ask- show your might,

Divide and rule, divide and rule,

Gone were the thoughts of the British school,

Quit India, Quit India!

From north to south, east to west,

Was the chant,

With every pant,

A march in March…

The Dandi march,

To make the salt of our own,

While unity amongst Indians was getting honed,

Bose decided for Azad Hind,

Considered that’s the only way to proclaim Jai-Hind,

After the reign of Mountbatten,

The Britishers could no longer pass on the batten,

Oh my god! Oh my god! Thank them all in this Fall,

For helping us all to smile and stroll,

She is sixty, yet so young,

Sixty times sixty still she will be young,

Stand up still,

Like a hill,

Truth alone triumphs!!!

So Bend it like India.

2007 + 2020 < 1950

Hello Jack, so are all set for you to get back to the US of A this week?? Tell me how was your stay? Did you like India?

Yeah, dude I am flying to Cal this week, and undoubtedly Indians are the best in the world …Brains and very very loveable….but sorry to say this Kumar India….hmmmmmm not as good as Indians!

Kumar was startled a bit, though not a surprise answer. This made Kumar to introspect and this was what he came out with:

2007 – Loaded with technology in every thing around , advanced state-of-art medical care (only for the affluent but still...), terrific economic boom, control of inflation, development of indigenous rockets, satellites, some of the best think tanks, poverty, racial discrimination, imbalance in the education for all system, unworked roads, development of the creamy layer, rapidly growing AIDS population, a turmoil struck youth population caught between western and Indian tradition, unemployment , aging population , lack of visionaries.

2020- India the super power (But in what?? For what?)

1950- The year India became a people’s republic. India was much more clean and serene, lesser amount of diseases, contended people, think tanks (including noble laureates and India had Mahatmas that the world looked upon), lesser technology but still everything was under control and people were much HAPPY .

So---------- is it not 2007 + 2020 < 1950

What if we have the brains of 2007 with the heart that pumps the blood of 1950 within us so that by 2020 we become the world’s happiest nation which would still envy any nation around the world?

2007+1950 = 2020

So will this mathematics be right ???????????
